About & how we work
A senior-led studio where strategy and build live under one roof.
Appsarmy is a boutique software studio, shipping production software since 2015. Full-service, with mobile and AI as our flagships. With client work under NDA, our delivery model is the credibility: written scope, senior pods, and direct access to the people writing the code.
Boutique and senior-led, not a body shop.
Appsarmy is a full-service software company that has been shipping to production since 2015. Our reputation is built on mobile and AI, and we take the same senior-led discipline to web, cloud, and custom software. We staff engagements with senior engineers rather than junior hours, and we would rather decline work that does not fit than dilute a team.
In production since 2015
A decade of shipping software that has to work, not just demo — through real rollouts, audits, and on-call.
A UTC+5:30 working day
A working-day overlap with the GCC and Europe, and a morning with the US.
Senior-led pods
Small teams led by engineers with production scars. The people who scope the work are the people who build it.
Global engagements
Clients across the US, UK, EU, and GCC — English-first, NDA-first, and used to institutional expectations.
You talk to the people writing the code.
Four commitments, held on every engagement.
Scope in ink
Every engagement starts with a written statement of work — the deliverable, the exit criteria that define "done", and exactly how change requests are handled and priced. No surprise re-scopes billed as progress.
Senior-first pods
Small pods led by engineers with production scars. We don't backfill senior roles with junior hours and call it a team — the people who scope the work are the ones who build it.
Founder, calibrated
The founder shows up where founder judgment changes the outcome — architecture reviews, hard technical calls, and escalation — not on the standups you shouldn't need him in.
Direct access
You talk to the people writing the code, on a shared channel, in your time zone. No account-manager telephone game, no intent lost between a sales call and a sprint.
Most transformation fails in the handoff.
Strategy decks get written by one firm; the software gets built by another. The intent leaks out in between, and what ships is neither the vision nor a working product. Our whole model is to remove that seam — the people who scope the work are in the room when it's built.
Strategy and build, one roof
Consultancy-grade thinking and the engineering to make it real, in one team — so there's no handoff for the intent to leak through.
Shipping is the only proof
A decade in, we've learned that a deck proves nothing. Clients who tried the strategy-then-outsource route first come to us to make it real.
Built for how institutional clients buy.
Buyers in the US, UK, EU, and GCC screen for the same things in the first conversation. Here is where we stand on each — stated plainly, because trust is the product when the client work is under NDA.
English-first
Every engagement runs in English — documentation, standups, code review, and the shared channel. No translation layer between you and the work.
Time-zone overlap
We work a UTC+5:30 day, holding a real daily working window with the GCC and Europe, and a morning with the US — agreed at the start, not left to chance.
IP protection & NDAs
We work under NDA and assign IP to you in the contract. Where it's required — as in our banking work — source code can stay on your own infrastructure.
Written scope
A statement of work before the build, with deliverables and exit criteria named. You always know what is being delivered and what "done" means.
Direct communication
A shared channel straight to the engineers, not a ticket queue behind an account manager. Questions get answered by the people with the answer.
Confidential by default
We describe the shape of our work, never name customers without permission — which is exactly why this site has no client logos.
Three ways to work with us.
Dedicated team
A senior pod that works as an extension of your team, sprint after sprint — ideal for an ongoing product or platform.
Fixed-scope project
A defined deliverable, a written scope, and a clear price — ideal for an MVP, a launch, or a well-shaped build.
Staff augmentation
Hire senior engineers to strengthen your in-house team, matched fast, working in your stack and conventions.
How we work, answered.
How does Appsarmy work?
A written statement of work names the deliverable, exit criteria, and how change is handled. Delivery is by small senior-led pods, with the founder on architecture and hard calls, and direct access to the engineers writing the code.
What engagement models do you offer?
Three: a dedicated team that extends yours, a fixed-scope project with a written scope and clear price, and staff augmentation to strengthen your in-house team — all senior-led, with IP protection.
Can you work across our time zone?
Yes — English-first, with a daily overlap agreed up front. A UTC+5:30 day overlaps a full working day with the GCC and Europe and a morning with the US East Coast.
How do you handle IP and confidentiality?
We work under NDA, assign IP to you in the contract, and keep client work confidential — the reason this site describes the shape of the work rather than naming customers. Source can stay on your own infrastructure where required.
Are you an agency or a boutique studio?
A boutique, senior-led studio — not a body shop. We staff with senior engineers rather than junior hours, and we've been shipping production software since 2015.
Why are there no client names on the site?
Because our work is under NDA. We'd rather protect a client's confidence than trade it for a logo wall — so we describe the shape of the work instead, and can discuss specifics under NDA.
Let's talk about your project.
