Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Appsarmy Technologies Private Limited ("Appsarmy", "we", "us") handles personal data collected through this website. It is written to reflect both India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), since we work with clients in the EU, UK, and elsewhere.
1. Who we are
Appsarmy Technologies Private Limited is a software company based in Delhi NCR, India, operating since 2015. For the personal data described here, we act as the data controller (or "Data Fiduciary" under the DPDP Act).
Company registration (CIN): REPLACE_CIN.
2. Information we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. Specifically:
- Contact form submissions. When you use the enquiry form, we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), the service you're interested in, and your message. The form also contains a hidden anti-spam field, which is discarded.
- Direct contact. If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you include in that message.
- Live chat. If our website live chat (Tawk.to) is enabled, it may collect the information you enter into the chat and basic technical data. This live chat is not currently active on the site.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability, as is typical for any website.
We do not currently run web analytics or advertising trackers on this site, and we do not knowingly collect special-category (sensitive) personal data through it.
3. How we use your information, and our lawful basis
We use the information above to:
- Respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement — on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- Provide and administer services where we go on to work together — on the basis of performing our contract with you or your organisation.
- Protect the site and prevent abuse — on the basis of our legitimate interest in security.
Under the DPDP Act, we rely on your consent and on legitimate uses as permitted by the Act. We do not use your enquiry details for marketing without a separate, clear opt-in.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website does not set its own tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics cookies at this time. Your browser may still process:
- Google Fonts, which we load to display the site's typefaces. These are served from Google's servers, and Google may receive your IP address as part of delivering the fonts.
- Cookies from an embedded live chat, only if and when live chat is enabled (see section 5).
If we add analytics or other cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
5. Third-party services and processors
Note for review: the exact list of processors depends on the hosting, email, and chat services actually in use at launch. Confirm this list against the live configuration before publishing.
We rely on a small number of third parties to run the site and respond to you:
- Website hosting and email delivery: REPLACE_HOSTING_PROVIDER — hosts the site and delivers enquiry emails to us.
- Google Fonts: serves the site's fonts (see section 4).
- Tawk.to (live chat): only if live chat is enabled; not currently active.
- WhatsApp / Meta: if you choose to contact us via the WhatsApp link, your message is processed by Meta under its own privacy terms.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except the processors above, or where required by law.
6. Data retention
We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to respond to you and, if we work together, for the life of that engagement plus any period required for legal, tax, or contractual reasons. We delete or anonymise personal data when it is no longer needed for these purposes.
7. How we protect your data
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the size and nature of our operations, including access controls and confidentiality obligations, and we limit access to enquiry data to the people who need it to respond. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We do not currently hold any formal security certification, and we do not claim to.
8. Your rights
Subject to the DPDP Act and the GDPR, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request erasure of your data;
- object to or restrict certain processing, and (under the GDPR) request portability;
- withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting prior processing;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf, and lodge a grievance, as provided under the DPDP Act.
To exercise any of these, email us at [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority — in India, the Data Protection Board; in the EU/UK, your local supervisory authority.
Grievance / privacy contact: REPLACE_GRIEVANCE_OFFICER, reachable at [email protected].
9. International data transfers
We are based in India and serve clients worldwide, so your data may be processed in India and in the countries where our processors operate. Where personal data is transferred out of the EU/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by the GDPR.
10. Children
This site is intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows the latest revision, and material changes will be reflected here.
12. Contact us
For any privacy question or request, email [email protected]. See also our Terms of Use.
